Rolling over the ground

I play Star Wars Battlefront on my ps4. I have noticed some players do a monuver to avoid being killed. They roll over on the ground. I would like to know what buttons are pressed to achieve this action.

Be moving left to right, and while doing so double tap crouch. I think there is a 1 second codldown for it.
